My relationship to PMDD changed a lot. I went from being completely overtaken by symptoms so often that I couldn't tell what was "me" and what was "PMDD", to being able to notice shifts in my body and what those shifts meant so I could properly take care of myself. The most impactful change is the reduction in suicidal ideation- at its worst it was nearly every day from around day 20 to day 4 of my period. Now it is almost non-existent and when it does show up, I experience it at around day 27 for one day.

My entire life changed! I went from 2 weeks of unbearable symptoms that included suicidal ideation, nausea, rage, depression, exhaustion, disassociation, etc. To a couple (2-3) days of very tolerable symptoms each month.
